The €649.99 bundle is a complete PS5 Digital Edition

The most expensive option is the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle. PlayStation lists a recommended European price of €649.99.

It includes the Battle Yellow PS5 Digital Edition console, a matching DualSense and a code for Marvel’s Wolverine. This is primarily an option for somebody buying a PS5, rather than an existing owner who only wants to change the appearance of their current machine.

PlayStation has announced no special performance upgrade for this edition. The difference from a standard PS5 Digital Edition is the exterior design and the bundle contents.

For an existing PS5, the covers make more sense

PlayStation is separately selling Battle Yellow Console Covers for €74.99. Versions are available for PS5 slim model groups and for PS5 Pro.

The company says the Battle Yellow range includes covers for systems with disc drives and systems without them. Buyers still need the product made for their specific console: PS5 and PS5 Pro covers are not interchangeable.

For somebody who already owns the hardware, that makes the covers the significantly cheaper route to the same visual theme without replacing a working console for cosmetic reasons.

Adamantium covers are a PS5 Pro option

The key compatibility distinction involves the second design. The Adamantium Console Covers announced by PlayStation are for PS5 Pro and are also priced at €74.99.

They replace Battle Yellow's bright finish with a metallic look while retaining Wolverine's claw marks and artwork. A matching Adamantium DualSense is available separately for €84.99.

The DualSense controllers are the simplest purchase

Both the Battle Yellow and Adamantium controllers are standalone DualSense models priced at €84.99 in Europe. Unlike the console covers, the choice is not tied to the physical format of a PS5 or to owning a PS5 Pro.

PlayStation is not presenting either controller as a new technical revision of the DualSense. The distinction is the finish: yellow and black for Battle Yellow, metallic for Adamantium.

Availability may become the real limitation

Pre-orders through PlayStation Direct are scheduled to open at 10 a.m. local time in France on August 19. The bundle and accessories become available beginning September 15.

PlayStation explicitly describes quantities as limited. For interested buyers, the practical question may therefore move quickly from which version they prefer to which version remains available.

Technically, the collection does not change what a PS5 or PS5 Pro can do. What it demonstrates instead is the modularity of Sony's current console design: PlayStation can sell a complete themed machine to new buyers while giving existing owners a much less expensive cosmetic upgrade path.
