Three substantial metal enclosures to select an audio source and adjust the volume: Goldmund has never been particularly interested in ordinary hi-fi design. Introduced in Geneva on October 19, 2026, the Mimesis Statement is the company's new flagship analogue preamplifier. Two independent power supplies and extensively separated stereo circuitry are central to its design. The published technical figures are striking, as are the prices reported by specialist publications. At this level of high-end audio, however, sophisticated engineering and demonstrably audible improvements are not automatically the same thing.

Understanding what the architecture actually achieves, however, requires looking beyond the promise of perfectly transparent sound.
